Mini Interior Design Consultation - One Quick Question
A quick & simple online interior design consultation. You ask a question, I answer. Easy!
How does this work?
You ask me one quick question about a specific area or problem, send me photos of your house, include all the details and anything else I would need to get the big picture.
I will email back your answer. I get right to the point with all of the practical advice, pictures, sketches or links to products or paint colors - whatever is needed to help solve your specific question quickly and easily.
This is a great way for you to get some specific design help without a lot of red tape or formality. It’s an enjoyable way for me to connect and help clients. While I’m often busy working on detailed full-service design projects with other clients, I love taking a small window of time to answer ‘just one quick question’.
This is just you and I having a chat where I jot down notes, include links to exactly what you need and maybe sketch something or do a quick and ugly Photoshop mock-up to show you just what I'm thinking.
What are some examples of ‘one quick question’?
Here’s some that I’ve received from clients in the past:
/// “Just tell me what flooring to use in this room! Here’s the ones I’m trying to pick between.”
/// “We can’t pick a paint color for our baby’s room that we both like - help!”
/// “We want a feature wall in our master bedroom but can’t narrow it down to one look and color. Here’s ones we love and what the room looks like now.”
/// “We have everything in our new kitchen picked EXCEPT the counters (the most expensive part!)… here’s everything else and the kitchen as-is, can you suggest a few that would work? We are using HanStone and are okay with any price point in their line.”
/// “How can I make this living room work with this huge tv? We love family movie night but it looks so ugly as it’s set up right now!”
/// “I want a rug for our family room but I can’t find one I love and I’m not sure what size would look best. Can you give me a few options from ____ that are under $350?”
/// “What do I do with this big window and huge empty wall? It’s not my style but I need to do something with it!”
What's not included?
I skip the branding, packaging, professional formatting and polished Photoshop edited images.
Small follow-up questions or clarifications that can be answered with a quick reply are always welcome, but back-and forth emails to continue work will require a second appointment and can’t be included in this mini package.
What exactly do I receive?
You will receive a personal email from me that includes:
/// a detailed written answer to your question
/// supporting extras that could include (will vary depending on your question)
exact paint color names & codes
links to exact products, furniture, etc
photos of my sketches to explain a layout or wall elevation
a rough Photoshop mock-up to explain a detail
What’s next?
You will receive an order confirmation email with all the details you need, including a link to your client intake form.
Fill out your intake form & email me your photos (existing room + some design direction / inspiration photos).
You will have your answer back within two weeks.
When will I receive my answer? Is there a wait time? How long does it take?
Your answer will be emailed to you withing two weeks.
Appointments are opened every Monday morning to fill my schedule in the following week.
